Gewürztraminer

Originating in the Transalpine region (northeast Italy), it is very common in Germany and Alsace (France). It is a grape with a very intense aroma that produces low-acid, tropical, sweet, floral, and slightly spicy wines. Its main aromas are reminiscent of mandarin, rose, ginger, lychee, and grapefruit. It pairs well with spicy dishes such as Asian or Moroccan cuisine.
