Tempranillo

It gets its name from the fact that the grape harvest is earlier than other varieties, making it ideal for young wines with a fruity flavor and a beautiful ruby color. It is a red grape native to La Rioja, Spain, where it is the main ingredient in Rioja, Ribera del Duero (Tinta del País), and Toro (Tinta de Toro) wines. It produces red wines with very good acidity, medium tannins, and aromas of red fruits, leather, tobacco, undergrowth (wet leaves), and rosemary, among others.
