100% Tempranillo, aged for 30 months in new French oak barrels and then rested for another 30 months in bottle before release. Intense and highly complex nose, with a pronounced expression of red fruit preserves, hints of cocoa, leather, spices, some toasted notes, and plenty of vanilla. Fruity background, with cherry liqueur or rum-soaked raisins. On the palate, it is smooth and unctuous, with good body and balanced acidity. Firm, well-polished, ripe, sweet, and fleshy tannins. Marked fruit expression. Persistent, balanced, consistent, and very mature.
