This is one of the estate’s most emblematic vintages. I’ve been working with this terroir since 2013, my first vintage. It’s a site with a unique personality, completely opposed to the cliché of a Pommard. The image of rustic and masculine wines is entirely overturned by the elegance and finesse of Clos des Poutures. A pale color that I like to preserve as is. My philosophy is to reveal the terroir rather than work against its nature. This disruptive character makes it one of my favorite wines.
