ARMAND HEITZ ECHEZEAUX GRAND CRU 2021 750ML

My family owned and traded grands crus in the Côte de Nuits until the 1960s. That’s why it’s a great source of pride for me to honor my ancestors by working with these vintages. The plots of this legendary grand cru are located between Clos Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée. At the time, they belonged to the Abbey of Cîteaux. With a very warm and very early vintage, I was quite concerned about the style of the wines. But with excellent control over the entire harvest, the wine has completely reassured me. Incredibly dense, fresh, and complex. This grand cru stands firmly on its own.
